Boys Over Flowers. Temptation of Wife. Super Juniors. Girls Generation. SS501. Kim Bum. Ko Hye Sun. Korean fashion. These are only few of the many things that we watch, idolize, and imitate from the Koreans. Koreans are not the only people that we idolize and imitate. There are other countries like United States where we find Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, etc.
Why are we fond of imitating people from other countries anyway?
Have teenage Filipinos lost their originality?
From generation to generation teens taste gone awkward in the sense that whatever things or styles, looks they see that they see it with their eyes as fantastic, gorgeous or fabulous it really always depends on from time to time but for now, yes teens really are fond of copying their favorite stars from their styles to acts. And, yes tweens have already lost their originality beacause of that.

I agree that teenagers have lost their originality since I myself love the vogue of my favorite stars even though they are from other countries. I mean each one of us teens have their own idol whom we love thus affecting our lives because we follow their fashion.
ReplyDeleteYes, teenagers have lost their sense of originality because of the influence of the modern world. They watch movies such as you mentioned. They copy their styles and attitude because they thought these are right.
ReplyDeleteMost of the teens had lost their originality but not all. Their thoughts were contaminated because for them it looks good. For example our clothes, every Friday is the fashion day at school. For sure, teens are having a hard time picking or choosing what or how to wear their clothes from their full closet. So others say these in front of the mirror: "Oh, situnan usarek ty syan style nansi Avril." The natural them had already vanished unlike before.
ReplyDeleteyes, we have lost our being original because of whats happening around us. We copy the styles of our idols because we think that maybe we can also be some kind of superstars like them just by copying.We also copy it because we want to be eye catching to other people.//wilbur//

Most teenagers lost their originality but some still remain to be original and not copy the style,things etc.. that others do. Well, its not bad to copy the style of other people as long as we do not copy entirely and obviously..
