Quote # 1 Unlocked

On my perspective, the passage clearly states that a person who does not act or accomplish something worthwhile in his life is considered worthless, unimportant, or undistinguished. He is basically nobody because there is no right or decent word which could be used to describe that person appropriately.

A person who does not exert any effort at all in that he is doing will not be able to achieve his dreams or aspirations. He won’t be able to satisfy those that are expected of him. He won’t be able to fulfill promises. In real life, it is what we do which defines us. It is how we manage our lives, how we interact, and how we strive to progress and be successful.

I agree with the thought of the passage. No person can become successful without exerting his effort. Every triumph and achievement begins with one step.

To illustrate my stand, I’ll take our own high school life as an example. As students, we could really never learn and be able to attain high scores if without exerting effort to listen, to understand, to outline, to make our assignments and projects, to read, and to fulfill the other requirements of our teachers and our school. I believe no one has ever failed doing his best because at the end of what we do we always gain some learning.
